HGC is a network of missional-minded individuals and churches committed to expanding the Kingdom of God by transforming their communities and the world through and for Christ.

OUR VALUES

Note:  These values have evolved as the primary truths that we accept as non-negotiables.  They define the way we do ministry.

• Lost People - God wants us to be about the process of redeeming lost people.
• Disciples - God wants us to be about the process of developing Christians to be like Jesus Christ.
• The Church - God's primary tool for doing such is the local expression of His Church.
• Pastors as Leaders - God calls Pastors to lead Christ's Church.
• Teams - We are more effective together than we are apart.  We sacrifice our own resources and desires to accomplish the mission together.
• Impact - We believe that God has called us to be fruitful with his resources.  We believe that outcomes should be set and worked for.  These outcomes will be evidence that the Kingdom of God is expanding.
• Trust - We intentionally act in a manner to build trust with each other and we choose to trust each other.
• Godliness - Integrity is the primary way we lead.  Our walk with Jesus Christ is central to being and accomplishing our work.

COMMITMENTS

We commit to embrace the purpose and values of Healthy Growing Churches.
Healthy churches lead people to a relationship with Christ, and make disciples; and healthy pastors model the Great Commission and have a healthy walk with God in everyday living as well as in leading their organizations.

We commit to healthy partnerships with those God brings together.
This includes accountability to each other and the group. This will be an outflow of the relationships as we work together fulfilling our mission.

We commit to invest our time, energy, gifts and finances to achieve our purpose.
This is not simply something that we will commit to with our lips, but rather we will work together to create synergy by bringing our whole selves to the mission.
