The books I treasure most are: Exponential by Dave Ferguson;  Courageous Leadership by Bill Hybels;  The Shack by William Paul Young; In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day by Mark Batterson

To help me stay centered: I take long talks with my wife Belinda; have time alone with God in my study or on a long run; and have accountability-type of fellowship with guys who know all about me and still love me.

What do you appreciate most about working in teams? A team will always out perform an individual no matter how gifted he or she is. I love the collaboration of ideas, the messy work of relationships, and the robust outcome because we did it together.

In my spare time: I enjoy sports, if you can bounce it, throw it, kick it or catch it - I like it. My favorite exercise is riding bikes with Belinda.
