As we approach Thanksgiving, I can’t help but be overwhelmed by our progress in helping our three scholarship churches enter into new life cycles.
If you have been following along you may remember that in Kansas City, New Life Family Church completed their 40 Days of prayer and have voted to become a campus of another congregation. [Read about the 40 Days of Prayer]
We sent a team to Cookeville, TN and the congregation voted to accept the recommendations of the Consultation Team [Meet the Team]. They will receive a covenant soon and vote on whether to accept this path forward.
In Miamisburg, we sent a consultation team in late October and this church has also voted to accept the team’s recommendations. If you missed the team’s update, find it below.
If both Cookeville and Miamisburg vote to accept the recommendations, they will be entering their 40 days of prayer in the new year. In both churches, the recommendations received strong approval. The forthcoming covenant documents will establish the steps needed for the congregations to achieve the recommendations. Already we can see that God is working in these communities!
